WITHDRAWALS AND REFUND POLICY

Withdrawal Principle

When a student decides to withdraw her/his registration, the following policy will apply:

1. ISBSS refunds all money paid if the applicant is not accepted. This includes instances where a starting class is canceled by the school.
2. ISBSS refunds all money paid if the applicant cancels within five business days (excluding Sundays and holidays) after the day the contract is signed or an initial payment is made, as long as the applicant has not begun training.
3. ISBSS may retain an established registration fee equal to ten percent of the total tuition cost, or one hundred dollars, whichever is less, if the applicant cancels after the fifth business day after signing the contract or making an initial payment. A “registration fee” is any fee charged by a school to process student applications and establish a student record system.
4. If training is terminated after the student enters classes, the school may retain the registration fee, plus a percentage of the total tuition as described in the following table:

Withdrawal Procedure

The reason for withdrawal determines which signatures are needed. 

• We encourage students to discuss their withdrawal decision and option with their academic advisor, and then check the financial implications with their financial advisor before making the final choice.  Filling in the drop/add form and sending it to your academic advisor to follow through is recommended.
• Request to withdraw includes full name, ISBSS ID, course abbreviation, number and title, and the reason for withdrawal.  

If a refund is available, a credit will be applied to your account. The date of the student for withdrawal is honored, even when it takes extra days to get the drop/add form signed.
